Main story: complete Sequence 5; Purchase lockpicking lvl 2. Note: I recommend skipping lvl 2 chests now until you have lockpicking lvl 3 to avoid combing the whole map for the third time; Main story: complete Sequences 6 & 7; Complete the second 3 Helix Rifts; Complete Sequence 8; Complete the final bunch of Paris Memories missions; Complete

Not sure about the main story but there is an insane amount of side quests it seems, and most of them are fun. 12 sequences. Some reviews say the main story takes 15 hours. But yes there are a crazy amount of side quests.
